Inconsistency is a tribute dedicated to Ichimaru Gin (Bleach).
It was opened on the 22nd of June, 2008 but is presently incomplete.
It is currently in progress of completion.
Ichimaru Gin is a masked character from the amazing anime/manga Bleach. He is Seireitei's Division 3 captain, with Izuru Kira as his lieutenant. He is always seen with his unnerving smile and squinty eyes, and gives off an uneasy atmosphere whenever hs is present. Interestingly enough, he appears to have no trouble making his decisions without an order to base it on, thus earning him a somewhat carefree and lax nature. He was a childhood friend of Rangiku Matsumoto before attending the shinigami academy as an amazing prodigy.
In the beginning, Gin was nonexistent in my perspectives. But that quickly changed once I realized just how priceless his constant smirking and infallable facade was. He definitely stands out from the rest of the cast with ease. His Kyoto dialect is also an interesting aspect of his character, the tendency to end his sentences with "na" or "ya". Additionally, Gin possesses the abilty to easily manipulate and weaken another's mental state; for example, Kira is an epitome of his permanent influence.
The man has an amazing personality. One can never quite tell what is going on through that mysterious head of his, yet he can easily mess with the minds of those around him. And with just a few words on top of that. It is almost as if he meant good, though the undertone of his words often contradict that statement. Obviously, he is a very misunderstood member of the Gotei 13, but he doesn't let that faze him one bit.
While it may have seemed like a breeze for Gin, the burden he was to bear during the conspiracy was great, and therefore he deserves admiration in that respect; his part of the plans involved many emotional moments. He followed through the whole scenario without flinching once, save for those moments concerning Rangiku.
Speaking of which, his relationship with Rangiku is simply fascinating. He had saved and taken care of her, only to end up clashing swords with her in the future. Despite betraying her and everyone else's trust, Gin still stopped himself from putting her in harm's way. And his words before departing Soul Society show a whole new side of him that one can call insanely humane and saddening. This man gives the words confusion and facade whole new different definitions.
The fact that his motives and ambitions are still a mystery makes him all the more amusing to watch. He is a follower, and a loyal one at that, though the reasons behind it all are tucked away in the corner for no one to see. Yet no one questions his actions. That is, without doubt, incredible.
